A listing is a profile for your business on wedcompare.co.uk showing your business name, category, county, starting price, website, cultural specialisms, and pricing transparency status.
By submitting a listing, you confirm that the starting price and pricing information you have provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge. You agree to notify us at hello@wedcompare.co.uk if your pricing changes materially. Listings found to contain significantly inaccurate pricing may be suspended or removed without notice.
If you are a venue, you agree to accurately disclose whether you operate a Preferred Supplier List (PSL), charge corkage fees, require kitchen hire, or impose minimum spends. This information will be displayed on your listing where provided. Failure to disclose known restrictions is grounds for removal.
All listings are reviewed before going live. Submission does not guarantee approval. We reserve the right to decline any listing at our discretion, including where pricing information is absent or inaccurate, or where the business does not operate in the wedding industry.
You are responsible for ensuring your listing information remains accurate. You must not submit listings for businesses you do not represent or use WedCompare to misrepresent your services, pricing, or availability.
We may suspend or permanently remove a listing at any time if: pricing information is materially inaccurate; the business is reported for misconduct; the business no longer operates; or the listing conflicts with our commitment to transparency.
WedCompare does not take commission on bookings made through the platform. Listing costs depend on your vendor tier. The first 100 Founding Vendors receive free access until 30 November 2027, as set out below. Standard paid subscription tiers apply to all other vendors, in line with our published pricing.
WedCompare may, at its sole discretion, designate a limited number of vendors as 'Founding Vendors.' Founding Vendor status entitles a vendor to free access to WedCompare's Standard listing tier for a period of 12 months from WedCompare's official public launch date, regardless of the date on which that vendor's listing was approved.
WedCompare reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:
Following the expiry of a vendor's 12-month free access period, that vendor's listing will automatically convert to a paid subscription at WedCompare's then-current Standard tier pricing, unless the vendor cancels their listing beforehand. WedCompare will provide at least 30 days' written notice before this conversion takes effect.
Founding Vendor status is offered at WedCompare's discretion to support a representative and useful directory for couples across vendor categories and UK regions, and does not constitute a guarantee of ongoing free access, priority placement, or any other benefit beyond the free access period described above.
By submitting a listing, you consent to WedCompare storing and displaying the business information you have provided. We will not sell your data to third parties. Full details are in our Privacy Policy at wedcompare.co.uk/privacy.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of your listing after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We will notify listed vendors of material changes by email.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
